New State Regulation Allows Fire-Safe Conversion to Make 1976 or Later Trailers Legal
This Could Be the Least Expensive Way to Get Your Family Into a Building-Code Legal Home!
YOU WILL NEED:
A STATE PERMIT FOR THE TRAILER REMODEL
Check with The California Housing and Community Development
Department (HCD) at 916-255-2501.
AND A BUTTE COUNTY BUILDING PERMIT TO INSTALL IT ON YOUR PROPERTY
Call 538-7601 or stop by their office at 7 County Center Drive, Oroville.
Well and septic, permanent foundation, interior sprinklers, attic ventilation for non-metal roofs are required. If you already have the well and septic, you may be able to do the rest for $20,000 or less plus the trailer. This opportunity may not last so plan to take advantage of it soon.
